Event Start#
1/ Recently, the market for $TRUMP has allowed many large investors to reap profits of millions or even tens of millions. As a small investor, I also gained considerable profits, and here is a brief review.
On the morning of the token issuance day, due to the time difference while I was traveling abroad, I woke up to find it was already past 1 PM Beijing time.
2/ Upon opening WeChat, I found the group messages flooded. After a quick browse, I immediately prepared to withdraw funds to purchase $TRUMP, but due to slow withdrawals on Binance's SOL chain, I ultimately completed all purchases at around 14U.
3/ That afternoon, for safety and convenience, I deposited all 5431.15 $TRUMP I held into Binance. In the early hours, I saw news that Trump’s wife Melania was issuing a new token, and immediately began selling $TRUMP on Binance at a price of 66U, eventually clearing out at around 62U.
4/ My logic was that new tokens usually attract funds away from old tokens, leading to a significant pullback in the old tokens. This operation proved to be correct. At the same time, I used the proceeds from the sale to purchase 400 $SOL and withdrew from Binance in two transactions, 200 each time, planning to buy $MELANIA. Unfortunately, the first withdrawal arrived quickly, but the second one was stuck for nearly an hour, which frustrated me greatly.
5/ After the withdrawals were completed, I bought nearly 400 $MELANIA at an average price of about 5U. After a short rest, I woke up to find the price had touched 13U. Based on the current price assessment, secondary tokens usually do not exceed 30% of the leading token, and the price of 13-14U had already surpassed 25% of the leading token at that time, so I cleared out all at a price of 10-11U, selling about 840 $SOL and recharging back to Binance.
6/ Using these $SOL and the U obtained from previous sales, I bought all $TRUMP at prices of 41U and 44U, increasing my holdings to 10405.7, nearly double my initial purchase, thanks to the swing trading in the early hours and the profits from trading secondary tokens.
7/ Subsequently, I cleared out $TRUMP at a price of 49.61U before the speech, regrettably missing the selling opportunity when Robinhood announced its launch and surged to 63U, but overall I still felt satisfied.
8/ Finally, I engaged in swing trading, buying from about 35.9U to sell at 39.99U. Before boarding my flight back home, I sold all $TRUMP, earning 573703 U.
9/ Although my earnings cannot compare with those of the big players, considering the time difference while traveling and the fact that I only started buying at 14U, I believe I have executed the best operation possible, and there is little room for improvement in hindsight.
